Dear valued festival fans, supporters, artists and ticket holders: Due to various reasons Worthstock Music
Festival 2008 will not be held in Silsden Carnival Field this year. The festival has now
been moved to the K2 Music Venue (which we have booked for the weekend), Cricketers Arms
and one other to be confirmed venue in Keighley,
The Main Stage and Musicians Centre Stage
will be held on the venues 2 stages, which has a wicked sound system, great lighting and
more than enough room for everyone to chillout and enjoy the music. The venue is for all ages
and licensed security will keep everything running smoothly. K2 will have the same bands an lineup and
will be open from 7pm Friday August 1st all day Saturday August 2nd and all day Sunday August 3rd.
The Kev O Brien Memorial Stage, will be presented on Saturday August 3rd at The Victoria Hotel, Cavendish Street Keighley, we will
be moving some of the Acoustic Stage to the Cricketers Arms, Keighley on Saturday August 2nd and 3rd.
Think of it as "Worthstock Mark 2", with shelter incase of rain.
Many thanks, keep the faith, Helen, Rob, Tim, Tom & Luke

From Manchester’s dynamic musical landscape comes the most compelling soundclash to rise
from the underground for years. The sound of a thousand city-centre clubnights and student
party mash-ups invigorating the righteous fury of distorted guitars and dubby grooves… SB6
create a sound as authentic as it is unique. Check out ‘Sound of a Revolution’ for the Boom
in an instant – fluid grime vocals laid over a bass-heavy skank, detonated with a blast of punk-rock.

Born in Liverpool and raised in the Midlands, Steve has been quietly ploughing his own artistic furrow, turning out quality albums since the early 70s. His songs have been recorded by Fairport Convention, Dolores Keane, The House Band, Peter Bellamy, North Cregg, Bob Fox and many more.
From the very start, Worthstock was about creating a stage (or three) for us to present the
bands and artists that you want to see. We heard your the first time around and we are listening again.
We want to know who you want to see, what stalls you would like us to provide, and how you want
us to entertain you over the weekend. You can chat with other people, and even the bands directly.
The best way to vent your spleen is on our forum. So put the kettle on, and come on in...

Here at Worthstock we do our very best to blend in with the local environment, from ensuring
noise polution is not an issue, to recycling any waste produced by the festival.
We achieve this with the help of local recycling management businesses.
We are also very enthusiastic about educating festival
